The development of the laboratory of analysis, especially in the field of soil sciences, has allowed Ecosistemi to win funding from the Emilia Romagna Region together with the University of Parma and the CNR of Bologna.

Following the participation in this call, research activities aimed at the development of technology have begun on the basis of the study of soil characteristics and the consequent improvement of the treatment process.
It is from this experience that the first relationships of collaboration with the Academic Institutions and with the mechanical and carpentry workshops for plant development are born.

The start of development activities in the field of reconstitution coincided with the transfer, in 2009, of the laboratories and offices of Ecosistemi from the city center to Gariga di Podenzano (PC), in a building with large spaces to ensure the great development of Ecosistemi After moving to the new premises, it found the right conditions to enlarge the laboratories, offices and archives, bringing a strong impetus to development.
The new premises offered the possibility of structuring the company in the divisions that still remain today: analysis laboratories, research laboratories, administrative and design offices, study rooms and library.

The intense experimental activity supported on site, in field trials and in laboratories, allowed the filing of the second patent application on the conceptual model of soil reconstitution and on the new methods of treatment.
