The definition of the ecological and soil conditions of the site allowed the exact design of the intervention and the experimental lines based on the distinct properties of the residues and the different reconstitution processes to be carried out.

Numerous test plots have been created with natural soils and reconstituted lands produced with different treatments for the identification of the best strategies to be carried out to generate suitable soils to be relocated to the area.

Following the collection of the data necessary for the design, the site was organized, thanks to the precious interest of the Municipal Administration of Piacenza, for the production of soils, with the installation of the plant and the beginning of the interventions.
