The remediation of contaminated sites requires, after the characterization phases, the design of the types of intervention; Intervention approaches follow schemes and procedures that refer to methods that are difficult to fully adapt to each specific case: the complexity, heterogeneity and singularity of each situation necessarily requires the evaluation of projects in the laboratory through the construction of pilot plants that reproduce the planned remediation actions on a scale.

The sizing, the management parameters, are best outlined by the information that emerges from the laboratory experimentation providing fundamental data for the optimization of the process.

For this reason, the research laboratory carries out in controlled environments and on a microscale the reproduction of the schemes, or part of them, of the reclamation processes in bioremediation sites or ex situ (bioventing, land farming, biopile, phytorimediation, etc.) applying the pedotechnical, chemical, physical and biological criteria.
The experiments can be designed and conducted in collaboration with the Customer's designers also following the preparation and management of the tests in our laboratories.
