The application of soil sciences are expressed in our laboratories with particular regard to the field of pedotechnologies, technical disciplines that consider the principles of physics, chemistry and biology for the implementation of specific interventions on the improvement of soil ecosystem services.

Ecosistemi is active in applied research on the contrast of the processes of degradation and desertification, on the interventions of redemption of sterile lands, on the production of specific soils through its own laboratories, physical, chemical and biological pilot plants, controlled environments, experimental plots and field trials conducted in our Azienda Agricola Sperimentale Fertilia.
The great knowledge of Ecosistemi – affirmed at international level – is also practiced in experimentation in the field of remediation of contaminated soils with accurate studies and trials for treatment ex situ e in situ with different biological, chemical and physical technologies. The care of the experimental aspects, understood as the quality of the analytical data on soil samples, is constantly subjected to numerous internal controls of the data such as, for example, the CRQ internal reference natural soil sample and the related control maps.
The rigor of our activities is supported by certificates, international publications, participation in conferences and relations with the main academic and world institutions of pedology, agronomy and soil sciences.
