Treated water, i.e. water resources subjected to purification operations, or those already suitable for human consumption, must comply with the values required by Legislative Decree No 18 of 23 February 2023 set out in Annex I (Article 3).
The parameters listed are searched by the laboratory using the official methods provided for by the decree or with the most up-to-date analytical procedures (national and international); Ecosistemi searches for additional parameters to ensure hygienic health safety depending on the situations examined for each individual case.
The laboratory also carries out on-the-spot sampling with its own sampling units or – after the necessary instructions for correct sampling – provides the specific containers for the collection of samples.
