The analytical investigations of a chemical and microbiological type for the reclamation of an area contaminated by a high concentration of ammonium sulfate have allowed to realize new approaches both on the characterization of the area and on the simulation of the intervention method. The design and execution of the site, as a result of these investigations, have returned environmental compliance to the site.

The studies, conducted in collaboration with the Institute of Environmental Sciences led by Prof. Pierluigi Viaroli, have made it possible to concretize, in the degree thesis discussed by Valentina Cavalca, the most scientific aspects of the remediation approach designed and carried out by Ecosistemi.
