An important milestone has been sanctioned by the arrival of the very positive results of the participation of our analysis and research laboratories in GLOSOLAN PT 2025 (proficiency test on soil analysis)

The PT 2025 provided for the following analyses on 9 soil samples:
? granulometry determination (<2mm)
? pH in water
? electrical conductivity
? Walkley Black Organic Carbon
? Total Carbon Loss-on-Ignition
? P Olsen
? N Dumas
? Heavy Metals (Cr, Al, As, Se) in Royal Water
? K exchangeable for ammonium acetate
? Micronutrients (Cu, Fe, Mn, Zn) in DPTA

The results for all the parameters investigated confirmed the great reliability of the analytical data provided by our laboratories. The z-score values, used to assess the accuracy of the analyses, quantify how far a result deviates from the median, in terms of the mean absolute deviation: negative z-scores indicate that the result is lower than the median, positive that is higher than the median, z-scores equal to zero indicate that the result coincides with the median. A z-score between -2 and +2 suggests a condition generally considered "satisfactory", an absolute value between 2 and 3 indicates that the result is "questionable", z-score below -3 or above +3 is considered "unsatisfactory" and should lead to further evaluations and corrective actions, once the triggering cause has been identified.

Based on the statistical processing carried out by GLOSOLAN, our laboratories have returned for all parameters values of z-score in absolute value largely below 2 and in some cases 0, with a largely satisfactory judgment of the accuracy of the data.
