Written and oral presentation of the speech "Hydrological characteristics of degraded soils of a landfill in Northern Italy: a comparison between instrumental data and predictive models"
The NEWLIFE group brought to the conference the discussion on the hydrological characteristics of soil and desertification.
The evaluation of the differences between the analytical data obtained through the official analytical procedures, and the forecasts obtained from the pedofunctions that allow the determination of water retention values, lead to an assessment of the state of degradation of the soils related to the change in the trends of soil humidity depending on the type of interference present.
It is on the basis of these differences that it is possible to investigate the reconstitutive treatments for the improvement of the hydrological properties of the natural soils to be subjected to processing.
