A study has been published, carried out by Ecosistemi and the Institute of Agricultural and Environmental Chemistry, concerning the thermal characteristics of reconstituted soils

The research, which is the result of years of observations, shows the important property of the soils produced by the reconstitution technology, which consists of greater thermal capacity, ensuring lower temperature fluctuations than natural lands. This character positively influences a large number of properties, such as hydrological properties, availability of nutrients for plants, better development of the root system.

The publication presents trends in temperatures measured in two different soils: a natural soil, tendentially degraded and a ? reconstituted soil produced by a technology, designed and developed by our company, for the treatment of degraded and desertified soils for the restoration of their fertility.
This pedotechnic is based on the production of new soil aggregates through mechanical and chemical actions that act on the structure of the soil, on the arrangement of the organic substance within the aggregates and on the polycondensation of organic carbon. The evolution of parameters such as organic matter content, porosity and water content, being closely linked to thermal capacity, specific heat, thermal diffusivity and thermal conductivity justify the different thermal trend observed.
