Wednesday, July 5, in the first session dedicated to Ecosistemi Degraded, dr. Paolo Manfredi presented his study on the evolution of chemical properties and agronomic vocations of reconstituted soils after 12 years from their placement in an agrarian restoration intervention
The exposure marks the beginning of a new phase in the research of reconstitution technology that is characterized by the study of the evolution of reconstituted soils over time.
The study presented was a particular opportunity to illustrate what, for several years, it was not possible to demonstrate, namely the yield over time of the reconstitution interventions. The pedotechnics of reconstitution, in fact, in its innovativeness, had not been able to express any opinion based on the continuity of the characteristics of high fertility of the reconstituted soils: more than a decade after the intervention, it was possible to demonstrate the permanence of excellent fertility in the soils where the first intervention was carried out.
