The laboratory Ecosistemi, applied pedology sector, has developed an internal method for the determination of fibrous components in matrices of potential interest in combating soil degradation

The method takes reference from the distinction in histosols between fibric, sapric and emic matrices. The application of methods other than those developed by our laboratories allows the determination of organic fibres on numerous matrices: organic soils, reconstituted soils, peat, substrates and soils.
