Planting intervention on the reconstituted soil plots made on the RSU landfill in Borgotrebbia (Campo Santo Vecchio). Two operational teams have started the work for the planting of about 4000 plants
Following the preparation of the reconstituted soils produced by the reconstitution plant, their subsequent levelling, levelling and surface treatment, the latter carried out by means of agricultural processing (harrowing, decontamination, replenishment) the planting work began on ten hectares (100,000 m2) of the intervention area.
The positioning of the plants has scrupulously followed the projects, the latter carried out with the aim of reproducing an ecosystem capable of self-sustaining and that can offer greater biodiversity in the area.
After this phase some surfaces of the plant will host plant species directly prepared in the greenhouse of the research laboratory of Ecosistemi where species have been reproduced from seed provided by the forest biodiversity center and from seeds collected from monumental trees of the Piacenza territory.
