INITIATION OF THE FIRST INTERVENTION FOR THE RECONSTRUCTION OF DEGRADED AGRICULTURAL SOILS

In the Azienda Agricola dei Fratelli Vercesi the reconstitution treatment plant operates for the first time, the technology is applied on some agricultural soils of the fund that, in the past, had been the subject of extractive activity, seriously compromising the agricultural value.
The restoration work begins after a series of researches and characterisations of soils classified as physically and chemically degraded. From a chemical point of view they have a very low supply of organic matter and a poor availability of macronutrients such as Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium. From a physical point of view, the plots, of heterogeneous nature, possess highly compromised areas of the high presence of skeleton and inerts of non-natural origin; strong compaction of the soils with silt weaving, with crust that involves difficult processing and poor surface permeability, structure, in large part, polyhedral angular and with poor water retention capacity.

The capacity for use of the soils can be classified in the V class.
This is the first application of the technology devised by the company Ecosistemi and the company is indebted to the brothers Luigi and Enrico Vercesi for the trust and esteem placed.
