The Research Group of Ecosistemi, in addition to the incorporation of technology, it achieved a further important milestone and a second round of praise from experts worldwide: the approach used in reconstitution technology has been included in the WOCAT database (World Overview of Conservation Approaches and Technologies), a global network that aims to document, share and apply knowledge of sustainable land management (SLM)
Wocat defines SLM technology as a physical practice on land that controls land degradation and improves soil productivity and/or other ecosystem services.
From this assumption began the compilation of a specific questionnaire created on SLM approaches (QA) that addresses issues related to implementation (including capacity building, decision-making, technical and material support, change of legal framework and policies) and implementation (including all stakeholders involved and their roles) to describe and make understand what are the operations that are undertaken every time a new restoration project by recovery technology begins. The questionnaire was reviewed and accepted and published in the database.
