The book of Applied Pedology by Prof. Simone Priori has been published; in the text is widely mentioned, in a specific section, our activity of pedotechnology and soil reconstitution

Prof. Simone Priori, who had contacted us a long time ago to discuss our reconstitution technology and our pedotechnology activities, published the excellent book on Applied Pedology.

For us it is a great honour to be in such a valuable text that, we are sure, it will be an important point of reference for the growth of new pedologists as well as for the consultation and study of agronomists, geologists, naturalists, ecologists.

Professo Simone Priori is Professor of ?Pedology applied to soil conservation? in the master's degree course in ?Conservation and Restoration of the?Environment and Forests? (2021-2022), lecturer in ?Pedology? during the three-year course ?Sustainable Management of Forests and Urban Green? (2023-2024) and in that of ?Scienze della Montagna? (2023-2024), lecturer in ‘Cartography and digital soil monitoring’ in the master’s degree course in ‘Digital management of agriculture and the mountain environment’. Lecturer of the Master's degree in "Precision Agriculture", organized by the University of Teramo, Florence, and Tuscia from 2019 to 2024.

As a researcher, Priori is an expert in soil detection and cartography with traditional and innovative methods, such as the use of proximal sensors and digital soil cartography methods, he also deals with soil spectroscopy and soil evaluation in viticulture and other tree crops (stone and olive). He has participated in several national and international projects concerning soil and sustainable management in agriculture, especially in viticulture.
