EXTENSION OF ACCREDITATION OF THE MICROBIOLOGY LABORATORY

The analysis laboratory m.c.m. Ecosistemi, ? water sector, water intended for human consumption, on 19 February 2025, obtained accreditation for the determination of Legionella spp. in drinking water according to the UNI-EN ISO 11731 method: 2017 as provided for by Legislative Decree No 18 of 23 February 2023 (Implementation of Directive (EU) 2020/2184 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 December 2020 on the quality of water intended for human consumption).

This accreditation allows, in the verification of drinking water, the precise determination of the genus Legionella spp in order to quantify it in accordance with current legislation and offers an important control tool in the context of water used for drinking purposes and in the distribution lines of domestic hot water and general consumption.
