ECOSYSTEMS AND FERTILIA ARE ENTITLED TO THE LIVING LAB "INNOVATIVE AND SUSTAINABLE MODELS OF AGRICULTURAL SOIL MANAGEMENT"

In the context of the European Union, a Living Lab is “an innovation ecosystem, where research and innovation processes are integrated into real communities and contexts, focusing on co-creation by users. These workshops aim to put citizens and end-users at the heart of the innovation process by involving them in the creation, prototyping, validation and testing of new technologies, services, products and systems’; the dedicated page of ERSAF reads: The Living Lab soil sector is a research network formed in a defined geographical reality in which new technologies are experimented and shared, in order to introduce them in real production contexts.
Also from ERSAF, lighthouses are physical places where the solutions created in the Living Labs are applied to test the different techniques, validate them through periodic monitoring, refine and adapt them locally and carry out demonstration and dissemination activities. They are real farms, selected to represent specific contexts. These projects serve as models for replication and wider adoption across the EU.

In the light of these definitions, with the awareness of the objectives achieved and future in the field of the application of soil reconstitution and with the intention of being able to make an important contribution Ecosistemi and Fertilia applied to join the ERSAF Living Lab “Innovative and sustainable models of agricultural soil management”, as a ? research laboratory Ecosistemi e Lighthouse ? Fertilia.

Membership was accepted and therefore the group Ecosistemi ? Fertilia is now part of this network.
