New soil treatment technique, in situ reconstitution, on the experimental farm of Ecosistemi, Fertilia, for improving the physical fertility of silty soils

Thanks to the research carried out on soil conditions in Romagna in collaboration with the National Academy of Agriculture (Prof. Gilmo Vianello) and the Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna (Prof. Livia Vittori Antisari), where the data collected and the future agricultural and environmental consequences were examined, it was decided to start an application of a method of intervention on the land by applying scientific criteria with the pedotechnology of reconstitution. All this in the certainty of being able to offer an effective contribution to the reclamation and improvement of the soils covered by thick layers of turbid sediments, has started the important experiments on highly loamy soils present in an area of its Fertilia experimental farm.

This application phase began in research laboratories. Ecosistemi where further chemical and physical analyses of soils have been conducted for testing and testing at the company’s pedotechnology premises.

The phases of preparation in the laboratory of the physical chemical models of reconstitution were followed by the design of the experimental model through the processing of analytical data with the PEDOGÈNIA application program that groups together numerous pedofunctions for the calculation of the reconstitution treatment values.

Subsequently, after the preparation of the area and the preparation of the surface, the treatments of the matrices were carried out for the preparation of a disintegrated mixture to be subjected to the in situ reconstitution of the test agricultural soil. The surface was divided into 5 different experimental theses.
