The research on the evolution of organic carbon in reconstituted soils began with surveys and sampling on the entire Map 52 of Sheet 15 of the Cadastre of the Municipality of Podenzano.

From the basis of the analyses carried out on natural soils, before the start of the pedotechnic activities, evaluations were carried out on all the parameters relating to the organic substance, the extractable carbon fraction, humic, fulvic and non-humic acids, and the fractionation and quantification of the fibers and their structural state through investigations with optical microscopy.

The soil profile of the soils of Fertilia has been realized by carrying out a chemical and physical characterization as a basis for future studies related to the reconstitution of the soils.
