New scientific research, carried out by the research group Ecosistemi - Department of Food Science and Technology - Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, published in Agrochimica: the work describes the successes achieved in the comparative tests in pot between reconstituted soils and natural soils by studying the growth aspects of the species Solanum lycopersicum.

Ecosistemi prepares a test in pot on tomato comparing two theses: natural soil and reconstituted soil. Throughout the test the growth of the plants was controlled with reliefs and photographs. At the end, soil and vegetable analyses were carried out to compare the two theses. The results showed that the reconstituted soil is widely suitable for tomato development and production.
