The NEWLIFE project funded by the European Union is presented at the conference organized by Assocarta. The importance of the residues produced by the paper industry for soil regeneration directly involves the producing industries in a circular economy concept.

On 12 October 2011, in Lucca, the outlines of the research and study works concerning the works related to the project funded by the European Union through the Life plus 2011 instrument entitled ‘Environmental recovery of degraded and desertified soil through a new soil reconstitution treatment technology’ were presented. The project was presented by Dr. Paolo Manfredi as sole director of the company and creator of the technology of soil reconstitution.
