Ecosistemi opened the new headquarters in the Piacenza countryside by transferring and expanding its structure from its initial headquarters in Via Borghetto 33 to its headquarters in Gariga di Podenzano.
Ecosistemi since 1997 it operated in the historic city center of Piacenza in the ancient Palazzo Caracciolo of 1700, in Via Borghetto, a palace linked to city memories even more remote than the early Middle Ages. The development of the company, together with the need to have even larger and more suitable premises for the activities of the laboratory in the industrial, agricultural and environmental sectors, necessarily needed to find a more suitable place but, at the same time, to maintain that identity of the company suited to its mission. After extensive research, it was possible to enter the large structure that once housed the analysis laboratories of the Province and ARPA already architecturally conformed for our present and future needs.
From today, 7 May, the 1250 m2 of area hosts the administrative offices, the sectors: reclamation, agricultural ecology, services and waste in addition to chemical analysis and research laboratories. In the new headquarters were also set up the laboratories of pedology and tests on plants, environmental microbiology and pilot laboratory plants for remediation studies contaminated sites by bioremediation.
The structure, in our vision, today oversized and devoid of architectural taste, will be able to accommodate great developments of the Company seeing us advance in our projects.
