Ecosistemi, water sector ? water intended for human consumption, on 15 October 2026, obtained accreditation for the qualitative determination of Legionella spp in drinking water using Real-Time PCR, in accordance with the ISO\/TS 12869:2019 method.<\/span><\/h3><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/span><\/div>\nThis further accreditation allows, in the context of drinking water, to determine the presence or absence of the genus Legionella spp with extreme sensitivity and speed, integrating with the already existing accreditation of the cultivation technique according to UNI-EN ISO 11731:2017. This will result in a faster response to customers interested in managing the risk prevention for Legionellosis, as decided by Legislative Decree No. 18 of 23 February 2023.<\/p>\n
