The laboratory Ecosistemi built a pilot reactor for specific observations on the residual chemistry of samples taken from the subsoil of a site with a strong presence of municipal solid waste<\/span><\/h3><\/div>

The environmental chemistry laboratory, in collaboration with the reclamation sector, has designed a simulation system for predicting the risk of distribution of pollutants by a heterogeneous sample of land and waste taken at a site.<\/p>\n

The experiment had to simulate the environmental characteristics of the collected matrices in order to establish the remediation options of the area.<\/p>\n

This test provided important indications for the design of a remediation or permanent safety.<\/p>\n

The area was the object, in the early seventies, of landfill activities where mainly urban waste was placed, subsequently covered by layers of land of different thickness.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
